The Combined Union Choirs Concert is a long standing annual event at the Illawarra Folk Festival held in the Bulli Showground. In 2019 it was in the Show Pavilion at noon on Sunday the 20th of January.
The choirs were:
- The Illawarra Union Singers (IUS)
- The Sydney Trade Union Choir (STUC)
- The Newcastle Peoples Chorus (NPC)
Our own bracket of songs was:
- Mantaku
- Railway Refreshment Rooms
The combined choir bracket was:
- The Internationale
- What’s That I Hear
- Stand Together
- Solidarity Forever
This was Deb’s first gig with STUC as the full-time Musical Director, taking over from Margot.
